Confessional Study Groups

Besides the Texas Confessional Lutherans who meet in Brenham, there are others who desire to know and keep in the forefront of their church lives the Word and the Confessions that explain it.

A Panhandle Study Group

is in the process of starting. They meet to study Scriptures and the Confessions.

The San Antonio Study Club

has formed. Its first meeting was September 25 1997.

The regular meeting schedule is the third Thursday of the month. Next meeting will be the 4th Thursday in January 1999. The group now gathers at 9:30 a.m. at a rotating site. Call Pr. Lee Kunkel (830-997-9408 or email preach@ktc.com ) for the schedule, for directions or to get on the mailing list for announcments. Laymen and Pastors are welcome. The Plano Study Group

meets regularly at Faith Lutheran Church in Plano on the third Thursday of each month. The program consists of a Bible study, a study of part of the Confessions and an occasional book report. The group goes out for lunch. Call Rev. Robert Hill for more information.

A Study Group on the Gulf Coast

is taking shape in the near future.
